A relaxing shoulder rub

Last night the girls gave me a relaxing shoulder rub.  But they found theirs very ticklish.

Tovah's new found reading material

Lately Tovah’s reading has taken off.  Her preferred books:  Tintin and Asterix.  A great Davis tradition!

Island food: Mabawa

One of the special treats here is chicken wings.  They come over from Brazil…giant pallets of frozen wings.  Where the rest of the chicken is, I don’t know but obviously some other part of the world gets the rest or there is some sort of poultry mutation in Brazil where chickens grow extra wings and they have to be sold somewhere.

Anyway, a party means buying a few kilos of wings, dipping them in spices and eating them.  Last week I had a party with some guys from the soccer team.

Wedding apparel

We were told by one of our closest friends that because we are foreigners we have been forgiven of not having the right clothes, but that it is time we learned how to dress up for important occasions.

Here we are dressed up for a wedding.
