Tovah celebrated her 7^th birthday with blueberry muffins with her family for breakfast, shrimp kebabs with fellow workers at a restaurant for lunch, and a BBQ in the courtyard with friends for supper.  Not too shabby!

To top it off, while we were eating lunch and then later at the beach we could see whales in the ocean…  We don’t really have the kind of high-powered telescopic lens required for this distance, so you will just have to believe us: that white spot behind the wave, that’s a whale spout.

Another note…  Jen found a “7” candle here.  Pretty amazing!  We made the most of it.  Tovah blew it out 3 times for her birthday, so I guess we got our money’s worth.

This is a lot funnier with a digital camera.   Calvin’s parents didn’t find out until they developed the film.
