The course of nature marches on here, which means every pet we have gives birth regularly (except for the lemur – thankfully.)  These are probably the 5 cutest bunnies in existence.

In a weird sidenote, the rabbit went blind for a couple days… and now it’s fine again.

Being a cat is dangerous here, and we have been through…  I lost track.  So when “_____” (sorry, I never learned this cat’s name) broke her hip, we thought she was a goner.  But she’s still alive.  But she does sit funny now.

Our roof used to be completely shaded with passion vines, but after 4 years they died, and I have re-planted.  They are starting to give some shade again and we just got our first fruits!

One of my trips took me close enough to Tovah to make a side trip.  I got to see her thriving life at school and to watch her work on her pinewood derby car.  It was called “The Zipper.”  Get it?

Jen turned something like 25 in October.  She got a washing machine.  That was super exciting.  It has two tubs – an agitator and a spinner.  After filling it with water manually it agitates to wash the clothes, then you fill it again to rinse, then you take the clothes out and move them to the spinner to ring the water out of them.  It’s genius! 

If it sounds like a lot of work, compare it to hand-washing (the last 4 years.)  The only downside was that she had to pose for pictures.
