If you have followed the news, you may know that a couple of cyclones have moved through our region.  Thankfully, loss of life was minimal.  However, many people did suffer damage to their property, and there is loss of harvest at a key time – banana trees and breadfruit being hard hit.

We were sheltered and fine, but our landlord’s house (across the yard from us) didn’t fare so well, and the team car suffered a direct hit from a tree….  Now the island is cleaning up and clearing roads.
